 A thanksgiving service in honor of late President Mills is scheduled to come off on Sunday in the Central regional capital, Cape-Coast.
The ceremony is expected to be graced by Vice President, Paa Kwesi Ammisah Arthur together with other top government officials.
The service comes two days after the late President was laid to rest at the Asmdwee Park here in Accra.

 The Funeral Planning Committee (FPC) has announced that members of the general public who wish to visit the final resting place of His Excellency Professor John Evans Atta Mills to drop flowers and pay respect at the Asomdwee Park are free to do so between 8am and 5pm Sunday and Monday.

 The Committee organizing the funeral of late president John Evans Atta Mills has agreed to hand over his body to his family after an initial burial by the State.
The agreement was reached following a meeting with the late president’s family Thursday.
Joy News’ parliamentary correspondent Sammy Darko reported that the committee has also agreed to fully include the family in the arrangement of the funeral.
